In 2014 the current owner Natalie Robinson took over and Gozo Azul has grown since then.
Natalie runs the daily operations and bookings, she is also an experienced and very dedicated PADI Divemaster.
They are supported by head skipper Derek Wagner (Dee Mozam) who has over 20 years’ experience of diving and driving boats in Mozambique. So you are in very good hands.
Natalie and her team strive to offer you a relaxed, fun, professionally operated and safe environment for all ocean explorers young and old.

Gozo-Azul is one of Ponto do Ouro’s leading PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centres, offering some of Mozambique’s best scuba diving throughout the year. With an impressive number of marine species to be seen at any time of the year, the reefs here are a scuba diver’s dream!
Their scuba diving trips operate on a daily basis from their own boats, with dive sites suitable for beginner to advanced divers.
Fun Activities:
- There are numerous dive sites and coral reefs. This is a tourist destination to please any person interested in scuba diving, deep sea fishing, snorkeling or swimming on white sand beaches.
- Swimming with the Dolphins is one of the major attractions of this area, we recommend the Dolphin Research Centre in Ponta D’ouro.
- Surf fishing is good from the beach and local Deep Sea fishing companies offer stunning fishing opportunities.
- Turtles lay their eggs between November and February on the beach and can be witnessed if you take a calm stroll on the beach after dark. The hatchlings make their way to the ocean from January – March. Please Note: Never disturb them when they lay eggs and refrain from touching them at all times.
- Humpback and Southern Right Whale sightings are magnificent from July – November. Pods of dolphins can been seen all year round.
- Quad bikes, kite- and surf boards can be rented and lessons are available in Ponta Do Ouro.
